First off, thanks for the votes and comments about my card and our crazy Christmas sweater party!
So on to the winners of my little Bella Scraps giveaway. I used random.org to pick my numbers, and it chose:
#5 Gina
#24 Kelli
Woooo! I believe I have both of your emails so I will send you the coupon codes for the Bella Scraps issue. Congrats!! And thanks again to everyone for all the support in this fun little contest. I really appreciate it. We’ll see what happens!
So I can’t believe I haven’t blogged about this yet (I am SO behind) but wanted to share something exciting. I have some projects for sale in the store at Digital Scrapbook Memories! They are fun hybrid projects (combo of digiscrapping and traditional) that include great chipboard albums and a CD with the premade pages (basically you just insert your own photos and type your own text on top) as well as blank layered template files so you can do your own design too. You do the pages in your photo editing program (such as Photoshop or Photoshop Elements), print them out and adhere them to the chipboard pages. You can embellish with your paper scrapbooking supplies also. Anyway, I’m happy with how they turned out and will probably be doing a new project every month or so. So here are the two I have in the store so far.
2009 Layered Calendar
This is my latest project for DSM. It’s a layered album that I made into a cute calendar for your desk or you could even add ribbon and hang it on the wall if you wanted to. It includes predone quick pages for each month that you can add your own photos to, as well as seperate .png files of each month that you can add on. This is great because you can change out the months for the NEXT year and reuse the templates over and over again. I’ve also included blank layered templates fit for each page if you wanted to do your own design. It measures about 3 inches by 8 inches (the longest layer) with 6 graduating pages. The last page has a spot to write down “Dates to Remember” that you can completely personalize. This makes a GREAT gift.
The prices are a DEAL–includes the chipboard and the digital files, plus it includes shipping! Hard to beat.
Here is the link to this one in the store:
Skinny Album Kit
You might recognize this as I’ve posted it before. I taught this album at the retreat in Park City back in April of this year and now you can buy the predone quick pages and make your own. I loved this project, it was really fun to make. This one includes an 8 page skinny chipboard album and box, as well as all the digital files (quick pages and blank layered templates) and includes shipping!

Those are so cute! You are so super talented!!!
Hey Brooke!!! So, I was wondering… Can you give me any tips for how to shoot not one, but two kids with glasses and avoid nasty glares?? I don’t know if it’s me, the camera, the setting choice or what? But I would like to have some photos of Christmas this year that DONT have any glares from those darn glasses in them!! Thanks a lot! Brooke–did you see that you won the christmas card contest! By a narrow margin, so you should be glad that you asked for votes here, because it totally worked and scored you an awesome prize!! Way to go! If that’s not a great b-day present, I don’t know what is!
