We spent quite a bit of time in water this summer. Brandon and Annie loved it, Haylie wasn’t a huge fan of it. I love taking pictures at the pool (as long as I am NOT in the pictures!). It just seems like the “epi-tome” of what summer is. So here is one of the visits to Grandma Yoo-Hoo’s pool.
The kids all had matching swimsuits. Such a natural looking shot, don’t ya think? Love Annie’s smile and Haylie’s little apprehension..
“Can you just let me sleep? I don’t like being photographed in my swimsuit, look at how white my thighs are!!”
Brandon had fun doing jumping tricks.
I’ve been trying to get a good shot of how water-logged Brandon’s long luscious eyelashes get!! They clump into 4 huge sections and droop over his eyes and makes it hard for him to see. What I would give to have that problem.
Annie loves hanging out on the steps where she can be more independent.
Ooooh, Brandon chooses a tricky backwards double lutz with a twist for his final jump….oh wait, for a minute there I accidently thought that I was one of those annoying Olympic commentators. Sorry about that. Back to normal. But it was a cool jump anyway.
We always look forward to summer when we can spend time at grandma’s pool and have lunch together. Thanks Grandma!!

Another water experience–a Bullfrog Spas photo shoot for Jaden’s marketing stuff. I came along just for fun with my camera to shoot with Travis and Clay, and I got a few fun shots. The kids had a blast and Annie was seriously working the camera. It was hilarious.
So here are some of my faves:

All of a sudden there was a new post on your blog. I couldn’t figure out because I had just read the flower picture from Brandon and things changed when I clicked back. I have not posted summer stuff yet but I think that is my goal this weekend. Yummy brownies. I think that I am going to try them.
You take the greatest pictures. Will you give me lessons? Seriously. I’ll pay you.
After all of my years growing up being Jaden’s pasty friend (while he was Mr. Tan) I suddenly feel so validated to see him just as pasty (close enough anyways).
Your outdoor, especially swimming pictures, always turn out with the best coloring. I love them. Cute Annie. Cute Brandon. Cute Haylie.
That first picture of Annie’s “natural” smile is about the funniest thing I’ve seen EVER!
your blog is “picture perfect.” it’s always beautiful to look at – you family is, too, of course.
yes, it looks like your little ones love the water and summer. enjoy it for the last couple weeks. (i, myself, am counting down to when summer is over – wahoo.)
“Can you just let me sleep? I don’t like being photographed in my swimsuit, look at how white my thighs are!!”
Is that you or Hailey talking?
Brandon’s eyelashes are amazing! Why do the boys always get those? I am ready to sign up for your photography class…..
