I asked the kids to tell me some of the things they love about their daddy, and here are a few of the items we came up with.
Reasons why Jaden is a Super Dad!
*He plays “Daddy Monster” which is chasing the kids around the house and catching them and wrestling with them
*He reads books to the kids and makes up “Super Brandon” stories
*He plays the piano and guitar and sings songs to them
*He plays games in the basement and builds good forts
*He gives big hugs and kisses when he comes home from work
*He rides bikes and plays golf and baseball with Brandon
*He dances with Annie and Haylie
*He snuggles at bedtime
*He gives good piggy-back rides
*He is a good example
*He says “I love you.”
How lucky that our kids have such a great daddy! We love you, Jaden!
We got Jaden this t-shirt for one of his Father’s Day presents, and Brandon was SO EXCITED for both of them to wear their Super shirts. He wanted to know if Jaden had his very own cape (we’ll have to get him one) and then said “I really wish we could fly.”
I’m excited to finally be able to post the album I made for Jaden. I love how it turned out! I don’t know if you’ve seen those chipboard word albums by Bo Bunny, but I wanted to make one of my own that said DAD. So I did it all by my very own self. Here it is!!!
I used the “When Daddy Comes Home” digital kit at www.ggdigitaldesigns.com. I created the pages in Photoshop Elements 4.0, printed them at Costco, cut them out and adhered to some thin cardboard (the stuff that comes with your 12×18 prints when you get them at Costco), and cut out the cardboard to size. Punched holes and tied ribbons to bind together. Hooray! It’s a bit smaller than 6×12 inches in size.
