We had a great Easter weekend, with lots of pictures.
On the chilly Saturday morning we went to our neighborhood Egg Hunt–although it was not too warm the kids had a blast. I only got pictures of Annie because Brandon and Jaden were in a different group in another backyard.
This was Annie’s first Easter Egg Hunt where she actually knew what to do!
Sitting with her cute little friend Scarlett.
Annie was so excited to see all of the candy (or “tandy” as she calls it) in her basket.
Later on that day we dyed our eggs and it went really well! Both kids were excited to turn their eggs into bright colors.

I bought a cheapo box of egg coloring stuff at Walmart and it turned out to work awesomely! The colors were really vivid.
A cute shot while waiting patiently for the eggs to soak.

That night we had the traditional family egg hunt and dinner with Jaden’s grandparents and cousins. Lots of eggs and more candy and treats galore. And it was CHILLY outside! What’s up with such an early Easter anyway?!?!?
They found their eggs with their names on them. Excitement!
Easter Sunday was lovely. I played the piano for the choir, one of my favorite choir arrangements of “I Stand All Amazed.” It really is gorgeous, both the vocals and the accompaniment. You can download the sheet music for free by Sally DeFord right HERE. The talks in Sacrament Meeting were beautiful. Even amid the holiday craziness it was wonderful to sit and reflect on the reason for all of the celebrations–the resurrection of Jesus Christ. I have a testimony of this, that Christ lives.
After church we took a few pictures in Easter outfits. I can’t believe how grown-up my kids are looking and I love how they’re holding hands. I love them!

You all look so cute! I love all holiday…watching my kids just reminds me that as we grow-up we make things more stressful & if we can learn from our kids to loosen up we will enjoy the little things in life as much as they do. I always love checking out your fun little things! Good luck with the baby! I want to send you a little something! So will you please e-mail me your address! Don’t argue…just e-mail me!
oh, it all looked so fun – and so lovely. your kids are so photogenic – good thing, huh. adorable.
Sounds like fun. In all my life, I don’t know that I have ever had an outdoor Easter egg hunt. We always do one indoors, but never outdoors. Strange.
Your kids are super cute. You always get great shots. I am amazed with your ability to get great family photos. I think our last family photo was….maybe we have never had one.
Looks like a GREAT weekend! Sorry that it was a bit chilly for you- I agree that it was EARLY this year! Perfect pictures, as always and your kids DO look VERY grown up!
Sounds like a fun weekend! The picture of them holding hands is SO cute! And I love the one of the “Brandon” egg. Nice work!
You have Pottery Barn kids in a Pottery Barn life! How adorable are you? Those photos are amazing.. as usual! I keep wondering if you’ve popped yet. I almost called you to see if you could snap some photos of my kids in their Easter garb since my photos stunk, but I thought, “I bet she’s got a newborn or is so big & pregnant that she just wants to be left alone.” Hope you’re feeling well! xoxo
Hey little photographer…why wasn’t there a picture of baby#3 (aka your baby bump) amidst all the other adorable kids you have? By the way, you look great!
Of course your pictures turned out so great, as always. I especially love the ones of the coloring eggs. The one of them holding hands is so cute. I LOVE Annie’s dress, and Brandon always looks so handsome.
Please stop looking so great in EVERY picture when your 9 months pregnant. It’s not fair.
What a fun weekend!!! Happy Easter!!
Holidays are so fun with little kids! You look great for being so close to having your little girl! Miss ya!
super cute pictures! I love the black and white! I am jealous you got a picture with your whole family and that it turned out so well-picture taking was like pulling teeth at my house!
Your pictures are gorgeous, as always. They always seem to be so clear and crisp and pretty! You’ve definitely got an eye for it. If you have a second (not having a baby or anything) can you email me your email address? I have a quick digiscrap question for you that I don’t want to type all out in your comments. Thanks. I’m at esingletonATgmail
