I wanted to post the pictures I took of Brandon and Annie in their Christmas outfits before it’s NEXT Christmas, so here we go. The toughest was getting one of them together!! Nearly impossible…..but I think they are cute anyway. 
I am barely functioning today! Last night I was awake more than I was asleep–don’t know what the deal was but I was awake for about 4 and a half hours. I think my body is trying to prepare for when “baby sister” comes and I won’t be getting any sleep at all. Brandon woke up and came in our bed at like 2 am and then Annie was up for the day at like 4:45 am. HELP!!!
“I won’t be a grump today…..I won’t be a grump today……I won’t be a grump today……” is my mantra of the day. “Please help me be patient…..Please help me be patient” is my repeating prayer!!

Brookie – nights like that are so hard! I think that mantra is running through my head most of the time too! Good luck today. Darling pictures, just look at those today when your kids are driving you nuts!

I can relate. Most nights I’m awake as much as I’m asleep. I’m a walking zombie. I hope you can squeeze in a little nap or an early bedtime today.
Brandon looks so dang grown-up in his suit. My gosh, he’s handsome! I love little Annie’s smile. She’s such an angel. You’ve got very cute kids.

a month before emmy was born i was just slept horribly. i felt worse at bedtime and so i just slept bad. i think you’re right – it’s preparing you for what’s to come. although i slept much, much better and deeper when emmy was here – not more sleep nor consecutive sleep, but definitely better. good luck, you can do it!
Brandon looks so handsome in his 3 piece suit. He looks like a little missionary. Annie looks more and more like you all the time. I am so envious of her curly hair. They look so cute.
Sorry you had a rough night. After nights like these I wonder how we did it in college all the time. It was no big deal to pull an all nighter. I guess cause we didn’t have to get up the next day and be responsible adults.

Oh Brookie…we mommys were blessed with something wonderful that has given us the ability to live on little sleep, and still get through those long days, be patient…and still be GOOD mommys at the same time. Your pictures our adorable. I showed my mom your blog and she looked at it for an hour. She kept talking about how Brandon looks just like Jaden and how adorable Annie is.
