Before Halloween, we took a little trip to a local pumpkin patch to get some pumpkins to carve. It was getting pretty dark but I did get a few pictures of the kids.
Annie was determined to get her very own pumpkin, and used all of her muscles to pick it up and put it into the wagon. Then she got in the wagon too. 
Brandon chose his and then ran around the rest of the time exploring.
Then it was his job to pull our pumpkins to pay for them–he took it pretty seriously.
I actually did a scrapbook page with another picture I took–the owners of the farm let Brandon and Annie choose a tiny pumpkin for free, and here is Brandon’s.

Been a busy week so far…Monday my mom and grandma came and we cleaned and organized the house–HUGE thanks to them!! Then Monday night I was able to go to dinner with some of my fun college roommates!!! Em was in town so we had to get together. We went to California Pizza Kitchen at Gateway and talked and laughed for about 3 hours. Such a good time. Love them and wish we got together more often. Here is a picture of the 5 of us:

Then last night I went to a bridal shower for another dear friend from my freshman year at BYU. Jenny’s getting married in 2 weeks and we are so excited for her! I was lucky to have fabulous roomies/friends in college (for the most part, oh we have stories!!!) and it’s crazy that it’s been 10 years since we met. This picture was taken about a month and a half ago, when we got together for dinner with our husbands and kids. Anyway, congrats, Jen!!

My favorite pictures are pumpkin patch pics. They always seem to turn out cute. I love the picture of Annie hoisting up the giant pumpkin, and Brandon…such a stalwart pulling that heavy wagon! Such cute kids!

Cute pictures!!! Where is the local pumpkin patch? I’d love to know. Sure looks like a fun time out with the girls – always good therapy.

Why is it that pumpkin patch pictures are so dang cute? I guess you can’t go wrong with vibrant orange in the photo. These kids are strong! Mine just picked up a 15 pounds dumbbell yesterday while we were “exercising.”
I can barely do that!
Oh my gosh, my heart about jumped out of my chest when I saw that picture of Jenny and Brooke. Where are they? How can I tell them “hello?” I’ve really missed Brooke alot!! The pictures in the pumpkin patch are darling!!
