Congratulations to my little brother, Ryan, who received his mission call last week to….drumroll, please……MONGOLIA!
He will be leaving the first part of September for the MTC in preparation to serve the people of the Mongolia Ulaanbaatar mission. He is so excited and so are we!! It’s crazy to think that he is going to such a place. I kept predicting that he’d go to Rexburg, Idaho (not that there’s anything wrong with going there) just because it’s very….non-exotic. But Mongolia….that’s a whole different story!! Hard to believe that my baby brother is old enough to go on a mission. He’ll be an amazing missionary. And he will be eating sheep heads. Seriously.
Also, another announcement. Today is Miss Gina’s birthday. She is turning into an old lady right before my eyes. So I made her a little digi card because I felt like being “computer-crafty” but didn’t feel like doing a scrapbook layout. Happy Birthday, friend! Love ya like a sista, Gina Loo!

Here is some *belated* birthday love for another friend, BreeAnne!! I guess I’m on a bit of a card kick tonight. I hope you had a wonderful day, cute girlie!

Then I thought I’d post a recent-ish layout, with Annie sporting a variety of stylin’ sunglasses.

Other than that, I have been in a scrapping rut. I think I just take so many pictures that I get overwhelmed with the thoughts of narrowing them down and designing a page. So the last little while my focus has been on the photography aspects of keeping my family history. And that’s okay. Speaking of photos, I’m going to try to post my vacation pics and stuff in the next few days, so stay tuned. We’ll see what happens.
Well, it’s late and for some reason I couldn’t sleep (post-vacation insomnia perhaps?!?) so maybe I’ll go try again. Nighty Night.
