Time for an important PSA: My cute friend Jaime has just started her own etsy store–check it out! http://www.bluedandelion.etsy.com She makes darling little girlie hair accessories. And I made the {blue dandelion} banner for her. So go and buy lots of clippies, you know you want to.
A while back I mentioned how I taught a class at one of the Digital Scrapbook Memories free classes they offer each month. Well, I made a little mini-album for Mother’s Day, and taught how to do it at the class. I made a very simple 10 page digital template plus instructions for creating this little album. I used the brand new “The Playground” CD from Digital Scrapbook Memories for the digital papers and elements. Here is what I made: (you can click on images to make larger)
They turned out pretty cute and our moms loved them! I printed them at Costco, cut them out, mounted them on real CD’s and drilled a hole in the side, then strung ribbons to hold them together. Fun stuff! The beauty is that I was able to make 4 albums at once–I just printed out 4 copies of each round page. You can download my template and instructions in the forums at Digital Scrapbook Memories (there’s a link on their home page) if you want to grab them! Leave a comment and link me up if you make one, I’ve loved seeing all the different variations!

I forgot to tell you how much my mom and Tucker’s mom loved this album you helped me make. Tucker’s mom cried over it. It was a huge hit. Thanks for all your help!
Super cute idea! I haven’t created an album like that since I truned digi (in paper, I made them often). I’ll have to remember that one.
And thank you for the enabeling! Those little hair accessories are darling. We’re in the process of adopting our daughter from over seas and I think I’ll have to purchase a few for her- not quite sure if she’ll have hair when we get her, though LOL!!
Thanks for the template! It looks fun!
That turned out so cute! I love it!
I am so happy you had a link to Jaime’s website. I first saw her bows on Angie Bloxham’s baby’s head and knew I had to get myself some…now I can! The album is adorable too!
Oh my goodness, I want to buy one of everything, I’ll definitely be making a purchase in the near future! Adorable album too, what a fun idea!
What a cute idea! Maybe by Christmas I will have learned enough to make those albums for gifts.
Thanks for the plug. Your blog is awesome advertising – it is pretty much famous, ya know.
Thanks to you, we can all look like the creative one now!
