Thanks for all of the sweet comments about the photos in my last few posts! I appreciate it, it makes me feel good. Well, we made it back from St. George last night. It was good to get away and spend time with family. We got in lots of swimming and relaxing, Jaden went golfing…it was lots of fun! And HOTSY TOTSY. So here are a bunch of pictures from the trip–I didn’t really take that many photos and the ones I got aren’t the greatest, but it’s alright!
There is a really fun indoor swimming place there with a big water slide and fountains and wading pool and a little lazy river thingie, and the kids (and adults!) had tons of fun. Brandon LOVED the slide and went down like 50 times. Usually all by himself. Annie also LOVED the slide and kept wanting to go again and again.
We also went and visited the beautiful St. George Temple. I love how clean and bright it is, such a peaceful, lovely place. I think it was about 98 degrees when we were taking this picture. You can tell by the looks on the kids’ faces that they were not really enjoying themselves in the heat.
Now that we’re back home, reality kicks in. Jaden had leave today to go out of town for work for a few days and we had Brandon’s last day of school, mountains of laundry, unpacking all of the STUFF that you have to take on vacation when you have toddlers, lots of little projects to get done, etc etc etc. So I did get a lot done today but not everything I wanted to do. I feel like there’s not enough time to do everything I need and want to do….or maybe it’s just that I don’t prioritize as well as I need to. I seriously need Mission Organization or Clean Sweep to pay me a visit. Clean out my house and clean out my head! But now that I have my quick little St. George trip recap posted, I can check that off my little list. I have more to write about (earthquakes, school’s out, scrapbook stuff, etc.) but for now it’s off to bed…
