Brandon is reeeeealllly into the Incredibles right now. It’s been the source of some funny things he has said the last little while. I got him this costume on eBay because everyday he asks me “Mom, where is my super suit?” We were looking for it online and he wanted me to “grab it out of the computer and put it into our house.” Too bad that only happens on Willy Wonka.
So now he wants ME to be Elastigirl, the mom in the movie. I honestly think that I would rather die than put on a red spandex bodysuit with black un*der we*ar over the top. The other day he said “Mom, I really wish you could turn into a balloon like her.” (pointing to Elastigirl in a coloring book). HA! Sometimes I FEEL like a balloon. He found this little toy palm pilot thingie that he calls his “field turtle” (aka Field Journal ala Diego) and told me that the red button says “Untrol Mom.” meaning when he pushes it, he can control me. So I generally spaz out and wiggle my arms and legs everywhere and make silly faces. It’s fun stuff, being the mom of a super hero.
