I looked out the window…

…and what did I see? Not popcorn popping on apricot trees, that’s for sure.

It’s a coldy snowy day. It’s kind of depressing to see all the outside toys covered with snow when just a few days ago we were out frolicking in the sun. At the same time, it’s kind of nice to have a good excuse to stay inside and actually get some things done. I might just do the laundry that’s been sitting there waiting for me. Or organize Brandon’s room. Maybe get dressed, I don’t know. Probably not. I let Brandon get out the hide-a-bed again and am probably a bad mom but have been letting him jump on it. But hey, it’s fun! While I was feeding Annie in her high chair at one point he was jumping while wearing NOTHING but here’s a more appropriate pic where he’s fully clothed.

I forgot to jot down a few things about Annie that I wanted to remember, so I’ll just add them here:

• Annie LOVES shoes. It was one of her very first words several months ago. She has more shoes than me, for sure. She loves to try to put them on by herself and also likes to put on everyone else’s shoes. The funniest is when she wears Jaden’s shoes backwards and tries to walk. She trips every time.
• We love to hear her do her animal sounds. She’s really good at “baaaaa” for sheep. She can do dog, cat, duck, cow, sheep, snake…I can’t think of any others at the moment. Annie also points to her eyes, nose, ears and mouth, and makes a smacking smoochie noise whenever I ask her where her mouth is and says “beep” when we do the nose. (Thanks Ash for reminding me about that!)

Okie dokie, here’s one more picture I thought was cute of Annie reading and snuggling with one of her “babies” the other day. With her morning ‘fro I wrote about last time. Lookin’ good!

So nothing too exciting to blog about today, but hey, that’s how life is, right?? I think later we’ll make some brownies or cupcakes and just hang out. I have a bad headache and don’t feel that great and just majorly bumped my head on our armoire while picking some stuff off the floor and so I’m thinking today should just be devoted to relaxing. Sounds good to me. See, I said I was a big clutz!! Maybe I should at least attempt to cross some items off my “to do” list. We’ll see. Have a good one!
