Thanks for all your sweet comments about the Primary poster! I’m glad you like it–that was fun. Today I have another free download for you as well as a fun spotlight idea for your kids, but first I wanted to let you know about a FUN digital scrapbooking retreat that’s coming up next month in the amazing Park City, Utah.
I have taught classes at this retreat since the first one, 2 years ago. I’m teaching some beginners classes this time, about using templates and creating 2-page layouts. There will be tons of fabulous classes for beginner and intermediate alike. It is a BLAST, learning tons of digiscrapping tips, getting lots of layouts and pages done, and hanging out with some really fun people. The first year I even taught classes three weeks after having a C-section (when Haylie was born)—yikes!! It was still worth it. It’ll be held at the Newpark Resort in Park City, close to the outlets. I can’t wait. Sign ups are still available. Come!! You know you want to!
I also wanted to share a fun poster I made for Brandon’s VIP spotlight yesterday. I totally got the idea from my friend April (who is the owner of Digital Scrapbook Memories). She made a really cute “I Spy” poster for her son for his spotlight week and I loved it. So we made our own Brandon “I Spy” poster!
Brandon helped me pick the pictures and come up with the ideas, and it was so much fun! You can click on the image to make it larger and read the “clues” better. I made it as a 16×20 poster in Photoshop and printed it at Costco. We love how it turned out and his teacher and friends in his class at school loved it too. They had fun using the pictures to figure out the clues all about Brandon. Thanks for the fun idea, April! The girls and I enjoyed visiting Brandon’s class to tell about our favorite boy yesterday afternoon, armed with this poster and 2 dozen chocolate-covered chocolate donuts, per Brandon’s request. We love him and we’re excited to celebrate his 7th birthday this weekend!

Okay, now we’re on to today’s free digi download—a St. Patrick’s Day “quick page” digi layout. Here is the original one I made last March using the Lucky Charm kit from GG Digital Designs:
